Moving home and packing boxes doesn’t need to be hard. We can take care of everything from wrapping to packing (everything you can think of), loading, unloading and setting up of your furniture as well as all the logistics. We take all the extra precautions necessary to ensure all your valuables and possessions are moved from A to B with the utmost care (and possibly some comical behaviour because we love what we do). 

Give yourself a minimum of two weeks to prep for the move.
If you’re packing yourself, take extra care to pack and label so things get safely to your new home and get put in the right room.

Interstate furniture removals made easy

When you’re moving across borders, you need to have all your ducks in a row – everything needs to arrive on time and then be unpacked, so you’re ready to start your new life. At Peter Sadler Removals we‘ve done over 2500 interstate furniture removals over the past five years. We have a process which ensures that every detail is looked after. 

Moving states can be trickier than moving locally, here are a few things you need to think about:

  • Give yourself at least 3-4 weeks to prepare for an interstate move.
  • We’ll send you an inventory checklist. Include as much detail as possible as this determines what truck we’ll use and how many staff we’ll need to get you moved. Errors in this can cause delays.
  • If you’re packing, take care when packing and label where each box needs to go.
  • Get your power, water and gas connected before we arrive (it really sucks when the garage won’t open!). 
  • Plan a short getaway with your family while we pack, move and unpack your possessions. You’ll get to move into your new home relaxed and happy!

You don’t need to be moving house to hire us, we’re here to help with moving smaller loads too.

Buying new furniture, rearranging your house, getting furniture and appliances delivered from the shop, decluttering, moving things from a storage unit (or into it), moving boxes of stuff, relocating furniture, artworks, pianos or pool tables are all things you might think you need to do for yourself. Even getting your house to look great before putting it up for sale… These are all things we can do for you (Besides, when you lift furniture five to six days a week, it’s sometimes nice to give the guys an easier day).

Just let us know what it is you need help moving or rearranging, and we’ll let you know the most cost-effective and efficient way to get it done.

Packing and unpacking service

Because packing is hard, and it sucks when things break, and well, sometimes it’s nice if someone else can do it for you.

When you move, there are a million things to do… redirect mail, organise utility bills, find boxes, choose a removalist, find more boxes (bigger ones). Packing can be one of the hardest. It’s tough not knowing what box size to use for what, how to pack to make sure things don’t break, getting it all done before the day. So, make your life easier and get our highly trained professionals to complete your packing for you. 

For a small fee, we’ll meticulously pack your stuff for you, giving you more time to arrange the other elements of your move. When we arrive at your new home, we’ll take care of all the unpacking too, leaving you free to concentrate on getting settled in (no mess, no fuss, easy as).
